Gala Placida Suites 1923, Granada, Spain

This was a beautiful place to stay with lots of character. It was not easy to find somewhere to park, they said that if you arrive after 2pm there are places to park as the shops are closed.
We got the suite at about half price on booking.com and were not sure what to expect. We arrived early and the room was not ready, but they gave us coffee on their lovely terrace. When we went into the room we were surprised at the size and decor of it. It was a built-up area so there was a lot of traffic noise, but it was quiet later so no problem sleeping. It was located close to the centre so all the attractions were within walking distance for us.
The only disappointment was the breakfast, which was very basic and not up to our usual standard.

Adega do Artur, Greater Lisbon, Portugal

A really nice restaurant which was located at the campsite that we were staying on, at Parque de Campismo de Entre Ambos-os-Rios. Lugar de Igreja. We decided to try the local speciality of Cod and Vegetables and also the local wine which we drank out of pots which were a little like soup dishes. Both the food and the wine were different but very nice. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. The service was also very good.

Garmin Forerunner 235

Used it twice so far and it is fantastic. One run and one bike ride. Quick at getting a satellite signal, and the heart rate monitor works well from the wrist. Excellent transfer from watch to laptop via Garmin Connect app.

Camping Paloma, Tarifa

A nice campsite although it is a bit dated. We were there in the winter and it was almost empty, think that it would be better in the summer.

Hostal Restaurante Los Pinos

Had a meal across the road from the campsite at Hostal Restaurante Los Pinos. We were disappointed with the meal, it looked nice but the portions were small and nothing special.
